Paraw Sailing
An hour on a traditional Filipino outrigger. No engine, just wind.
Tour overview
What to expect
A Paraw is a double-outrigger sailboat that has been used by Filipino fishermen for centuries. Ours is crewed by sailors who grew up on these waters. They read the wind and the tide the way most people read a map.
This one-hour sail takes you away from the shoreline. You'll feel the boat lean into the breeze and arrive back on the beach with the kind of calm that's hard to find anywhere on land. Sail at 4:30 AM or 4:30 PM and, depending on the weather, you may catch the sunrise or the sunset from the water. Cold drinks and local snacks are on board.

Common questions
How long is the paraw sail?
About an hour on the water. There are two sails a day, at 4:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Meet the crew on Santa Fe Beach in front of The Hungry Beach Co. about 15 minutes before, and you're back on the beach about an hour after setting off. Other times can be arranged.
What's included?
The traditional paraw with an experienced crew, cold drinks and local snacks, and life jackets. Hotel pick-up and alcoholic drinks are not included; you meet the crew on Santa Fe Beach in front of The Hungry Beach Co.
Will we see the sunset?
Sometimes. Depending on the time and the weather, you may catch the sunset or the sunrise, but we can't promise one.
How many people can join?
Up to 8 guests per sail, so it never feels crowded.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the coast guard suspends sailing or conditions look unsafe, we reschedule to another day of your trip or refund your deposit in full.
