What to expect

Virgin Island sits off the coast of Bantayan: a narrow strip of white sand surrounded by water so clear you can see the bottom from the boat. It's the kind of place that looks like a photograph even when you're standing in it. Our local crew knows the island well, and where to set up for the day.

Lunch is served right on the sand: grilled seafood, or a spread of different dishes. This is the meal our guests talk about long after they've gone home.

Common questions

Is the Virgin Island entrance fee included?

Yes. All island entrance and ecological fees are included, along with the boat, crew, guide, lunch and snorkeling gear. Hotel transfers are not included.

Where does the tour start and end?

It starts and ends on Santa Fe Beach, Santa Fe, Bantayan Island, Cebu. The boat leaves at 9:00 AM and you're back on the beach by 4:00 PM. There's no hotel pick-up, so make your own way to the beach.

When is the best time to visit Virgin Island?

November to May, when seas are calm and skies are clear. From June to October, southwest monsoon swells can make the crossing rough.

Do I need to know how to swim?

No. Life vests are provided and our guides stay close in the water. Tell us in advance if anyone in your group is a non-swimmer and we'll plan calmer, shallower stops.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety comes first. If the coast guard suspends sailing or conditions look unsafe, we reschedule to another day of your trip or refund your deposit in full.
